A terrible incident that occurred Sunday morning on rue de Bari, in Montpellier, cost life for a 21 year old young man. Victim of a violent carjacking, he died this Thursday morning at the Montpellier University Hospital as a result of his serious injuries, as reported by the Metropolitain. Unfortunately, the victim had not regained consciousness since the accident.
A dramatic escape in an insecure neighborhood of Montpellier
According to the first elements of the investigation, two individuals would be involved in the theft of the vehicle. The attackers allegedly used a brutal method to seize the car. During their escape, one of the criminals, driving the stolen vehicle, hit the young man violently before completely knocking him down.
Suspects still sought
The two alleged perpetrators of this tragic act are currently on the run, taking the stolen vehicle with them. The national police, who took charge of the investigation, are mobilizing significant resources to locate and arrest them. The affair arouses strong emotion among the inhabitants of Montpellier, shocked by the violence of the events.
