She waits patiently sitting on the bed at the Dieppe day hospital (Seine-Maritime), this Tuesday, December 24, 2024. When Dylan Legras enters her room, the smile of Loïda, 7 and a half years old, lights up her face. The little girl remembers this Dieppois well. He is one of the two ambassadors of the Disneyland park for 2024 and 2025.

Last September, he brought a little the disney magic has Dieppe hospital by inviting Mickey and Minnie to come and meet the little Dieppois followed in the establishment.

Dylan Legras then promised to Loida and the other children to come back for Christmas with presents. This was close to his heart because it was in this hospital that he was born and it is where his mother works, Rachel Legras, executive in the pediatric department.

Promise kept

The promise was kept this Wednesday, December 24. “Disneyland Paris offers a total of 7,000 gifts for children hospitalized in 60 hospitals in and Belgium,” says Dylan Legras. At the beginning of the month, park volunteers and their families, including his parents, wrapped all these presents.

And before spending Christmas with family, Dylan Legras spent a day sent from Santa Claus. He brought with him 200 gifts offered by the park and 200 others offered by employees costume services, shows…

Although most will be distributed in the coming days and for birthdays, he was able to give around twenty to the children present during his visit to the different departments, from neonatology to child psychiatry via the day hospital.

This is where Loïda received her gifts, she who for a year has been hospitalized there one day a week to follow her treatment.

“It’s so good,” says the child at the sight of the figurines and the Disney doll received from the hands of Dylan Legras. A moment of joy shared with his mother Adeline and the team of caregivers.
