During the school holidays and until January 3, 2025, the City of offers thematic visits to discover the city from the perspective of history and heritage. To find out the next dates, follow the guide.

As part of the end-of-year holidays, Narbonne, labeled City of and History, reveals its heritage to young and old during guided and narrated tours.

Monuments and history

To find out everything about the archbishops' palace, a key monument in Narbonne's history, meet Friday December 27 and Friday January 3, at 11 a.m.

To find out everything about the decorations of the St-Just and Pasteur cathedral, a visit is planned for Tuesday December 31 at 2:30 p.m.

The rich history of the medieval district of Bourg will be revealed during a discovery tour on Thursday January 2 at 11 a.m.

For these visits, go to the Palais Musée boutique on Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, 15 to 20 minutes before departure. Prices: €8 person (€5 reduced rate). A guided tour is included in the “Narbonne Monumental Pass”. Free on presentation of the “Les Clés du patrimoine” card.

For children, learning while having fun

Thursday January 2 at 2:30 p.m., a young audience visit entitled “The bird that stole the colors” is organized at the Archbishops' Palace Museum: it is an immersion in the side of orientalist paintings, to embark on a journey towards distant lands, in search of a funny feathered animal.
