The show achieved very good audiences when it was launched but according to the presenter, it was more of a “bad idea”.

This reality TV show was very similar in concept to Loft Story. Candidates were filmed 24 hours a day in a luxury villa on the French Riviera. The public voted for their favorite personalities. The first episode still attracted almost 7 million viewers. But despite this success, Arthur confides that he was not proud of this program.

A real audience success

Nice People therefore realized excellent audienceswith a market share of 34.9% at launch and an average of 3.2 million viewers for the daily summary. There was real enthusiasm among the youngest, particularly among 15-24 year olds.

Arthur explains that the project was a little sloppy and he doesn’t have very good memories of his experience, despite the good audiences. According to him, the candidates were not dynamic enoughet Nice People didn’t have at all the same flavor as a Loft Story.
