In Aquitaine and part of Auvergne, the morning fogs and low clouds will have difficulty disappearing. On the other hand, Limousin is more likely to see clearings. In the South-East and Corsica, the sun dominates with mistral and tramontane in the morning up to 60-70 km/h. This afternoon, only the mistral will remain at 50 km/h. Maximum temperatures will range from 6°C in the Grand-Est to 18°C in the Mediterranean arc.
From Thursday, the anticyclone will center on France and will maintain cloudy but calm weather. Full sunshine is forecast over all the mountain ranges and along the Mediterranean. On Friday, a drop in temperatures from the east is forecast and will spread towards the west of France. This weather will be able to maintain the snow cover in the mountains above 1000 m altitude, indicates La Chaîne Météo.
