The choreographer from Le Mans Delphine Letort invites three choreographers to her center to lead several training sessions. Friday January 3, participants will be able to learn Horton dance with Julien Mercierstate-certified jazz teacher and great specialist in this discipline. “Horton dance is a modern dance technique developed by American choreographer Lester Horton in the 1930s. It is characterized by dynamic, linear movements, incorporating stretches, curves and twists to develop strength, flexibility and coordination. Inspired by various influences, such as indigenous and Asian culture, this practice often serves as a basis for other styles, particularly in contemporary dance.explains Delphine Letort. The courses are intended for beginner and intermediate level.
