Let's go to the Christmas market!
As promised, the Christmas village opened to the public on Friday at 2 p.m., to the delight of snow sports enthusiasts who were able to discover the beautiful 200 m2 ice rink. They had arrived early to be the first to put on the skates, beginners and experienced alike. With the Valencia roller club you quickly recognize the regulars. And as the minutes passed, the chalets in turn opened and presented their displays while the rides received the first enthusiasts. The weather was ideal for shopping, a seasonal temperature and no rain, which was not the case, unfortunately yesterday Saturday. This first day was well attended, which brought a smile to the face of AC2R president Gianni Soriano, who was busy selling ride tickets and running the association's refreshment bar. At the end of the day, for the skating rink, the rides, and the visitors who got to know the chalets, the figure was 500 people. For an opening day this is already very encouraging for the future.
During the evening the mayor and president of the CC2R Jean-Michel Baylet came for a visit and was able to see that for a first evening, the attendance and the success of the ice rink, the success was there.
The Christmas village is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on December 24 and 25 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Due to weather conditions, the inauguration has been postponed to Monday, December 23 at 6:30 p.m., with fireworks to follow at 7 p.m.
