Restaurateurs at the head of the establishment “Le Paul-Riquet” in Somail, Manon Limouzy and Romain Suif are launching into the sale of spicy sauces. They are developing their online business and are present at chalet number 24 of Féeries de Noël until January 5, 2025.
What happened to the restaurateur duo Manon Limouzy, 28 years old, and Romain Suif, 30 years old? At the head of the seasonal restaurant “Le Paul-Riquet” in Somail, the couple launched a business specializing in chili sauce.
An idea inspired by their travels to distant and exotic places like Mexico, Bali, Thailand… “We loved eating spicy and we decided to bring this passion back to France. We therefore rigorously selected artisanal sauces from all over the world: Spain, United States, Mexico… We also chose these sauces for their flavor and for their Original packaging, price-wise, there is something for all budgets. We do not have a physical store but a website. https://www.chilly-hotsauce.fr/, and we are present at chalet number 24 of the Narbonne Christmas market until January 5. We also hold a blogwhere we share articles and our recipes with chili sauces.
They add spice to every sauce!
Especially when it comes to spicy sauces, the palette is rich, as are the varieties of peppers and the degrees of spiciness on the Scoville scale: “This one evaluates the content of capsaicin, the chemical compound responsible for the sensation of heat in chili peppers. Spicy sauce with sesame, truffle, celery, blueberry, pastis flambée… and even spicy honey “delicious with goat's cheese or hot Camembert”, there is something for everyone! “Chilli sauces can be enjoyed in winter as in summer, to enhance a barbecue, a raclette, a fondue… or to spice up a tzatziki, a ceviche”, assure Manon Limouzy and Romain Suif.
The couple launched this commercial activity in addition to that of restaurateur in the summer season at Somail. Ultimately, the duo is thinking of developing their own recipe, or even initiating a cultivation of “made in aquí” peppers. For next summer, Manon Limouzy and Romain Suif are already thinking of concocting a spicy olive oil that promises to warm up the taste buds!
