The second prone shot did not go as planned for Martin Uldal, who made two mistakes (8/10) and let the leader of the general classification fly away (10/10). Émilien Jacquelin took advantage of the young Norwegian's excitement to take second place, with another perfect shot (10/10) to the ovation of the public. He comes out 23 seconds behind Johannes Thingnes Boe.
Behind, Sebastian Samuelsson (9/10) et Sturla Holm Laegreid (10/10) keep up the pace, while Éric Perrot confirms by coming out at 6e position (10/10).
Uncompromising, Johannes Thingnes Boe executes a perfect first standing shot, very precise and fast, which allows him to further extend his lead over his competitors, who all head towards the penalty ring. Émilien Jacquelin made a mistake (14/15), as did Sebastian Samuelsson (12/15) and Sturla Holm Laegrid (14/15), which allowed the Frenchman to keep second place. It was Éric Perrot who carried out the good operation by performing another flawless performance (15-15) and taking provisional third place.

Émilien Jacquelin makes another mistake (18/20), and lets his compatriot Éric Perrot, author of a magnificent 20/20, steal second place from him! As boss, Johannes Thingnes Boe won the pursuit under the Savoyard sun after an almost perfect race which allowed him to consolidate his yellow bib, ahead of Éric Perrot (2nd) and Émilien Jacquelin (3rd) in a magical atmosphere.
