By creating a Patrons’ Club, the FSA wanted to involve companies in its support actions for the development and influence of the technology park. In less than a year she was already able to bring together 15 corporate sponsors who she celebrated during an exceptional launch evening at the International Yacht Club in Antibes.
An exceptional launch evening on Tuesday in the setting of the international Yacht Club of Port Vauban in Antibes: this is what the Sophia Antipolis Foundation organized to honor the first 15 members (14 corporate sponsors and a major partner) of its Patrons Club. The creation of this club, as recalled Jean-Pierre Mascarelli, president of the FSA, dates back to the beginning of the year. By resuming the role of attractiveness agency for the technopole in 2023, the Foundation had developed a roadmap which involved corporate sponsors in its actions in favor of the development and influence of the technopole. These actions, carried out in partnership, are part of the “???????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????” vision of Sophia Antipolis which combines scientific excellence, international openness and societal commitment. Actions to support projects of general interest, conferences of scientific excellence such as the SophIA Summit, the development of scientific or technical training cycles, or even cooperation with international scientific parks and campuses and scholarships and prizes, such as the Pierre Laffitte-Ecole des Mines Prize.
Pour Jean Leonetti, president of CASA, as for Jean-Pierre Savarinopresident of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, this specific link with businesses is an essential element in the success of Sophia Antipolis and its “cross-fertilization” between the academic, research and business worlds. The Patrons’ Club reinforces both this technopole-business link and the multiple support actions of a Foundation recognized as being of public utility.
This first Patrons evening also made it possible to welcome five new members: Atland, CIC, Crédit Agricole, ICOSA and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (as a partner). They join the ten companies already members for several months: Amadeus, Arthur Loyd, CG Finance, Groupe Ruff, GSF, Locopro, SaaSOffice,Travel planet, Valimmo Reim et Wallester. A superb panel for a launch.
