Kaffrine, Dec 4 (APS) – The regional town planning division of Kaffrine (center) is already hard at work for the success of the seventh edition of the national day “Setal sunu reew” scheduled for Saturday throughout the extent of the national territory, the APS learned from its leader.
“The major innovation that we intend to bring for this seventh edition is to make embellishments and landscaping in public squares,” announced Hamad Diallo Tambour, head of the regional town planning division of Kaffrine.
Speaking during a press briefing organized as a prelude to this day, he recalled that this seventh edition will be organized by the Ministry of Urban Planning, Territorial Communities and Regional Planning.
Thus, he continues, a strong mobilization of the population, the entire community, the authorities and technical services is required for the success of this day whose theme is: ”Together for clean and beautified neighborhoods ”.
He indicated that the main innovation of this day is the “setalsunugox” challenge launched by the Ministry of Urban Planning, Territorial Communities and Regional Planning to distinguish and reward the cleanest neighborhood and encourage populations to invest more in taking care of their living environment.
In this wake in Kaffrine, landscaping is planned to improve the living environment, he indicated, recalling that “urban planning is not simply the building, it is also the framework of life”.
The head of the Kaffrine Regional Town Planning Division says he hopes that the capital of Ndoucoumane will be among the first five municipalities in the country to be awarded the prize.
