The board of directors of Sciences Po Strasbourg “affirms its support for the continuation of the partnership” with the Israeli Reichman University, according to a motion adopted on Wednesday December 18, 2024 (14 for, 1 against, 3 abstentions, and 15 NPPV) , almost six months after the vote on a text defending its suspension. The argument, proposed by the management, is based on the capacity of this establishment to “preserve academic freedom”, in their “institutional” (independence from the State) and “individual” components. In a climate which has become tense on the subject, five teacher-researchers resigned from the CA.
