In order to prevent disturbances to public order on the sidelines of the football match between Calais and Strasbourg, this Saturday, at the Epicée stadium, the prefect of Pas-de-Calais has decided to take measures to control the travel of Strasbourg supporters from Saturday morning, 10 a.m., to Sunday, 10 a.m.
- Any person claiming to be a Strasbourg supporter or behaving as such will be prohibited from driving or parking on public roads in streets and places within the perimeter defined by the prefectural decree.
- Supporters of the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace must comply with the organizational arrangements provided by the organizers of the meeting:
– do not go to one of the places or areas covered by the prefectural decree.
– go only to the “visitors” stand of the Epicée stadium.
– Strasbourg supporters authorized to travel by coach or minibus must go to the rest area located downstream of the “Setques” interchange of the A26. The meeting time is 6:30 p.m. Supervised by the police, they will then go to the visitor access to enter a dedicated stand.
– at the end of the match, a retention period is planned in the visitors’ stand, in order to facilitate the dispersal of local supporters and avoid crossing flows.
The Strasbourg supporters will then leave the stadium with authorization from the police, the latter then escorting them to the motorway.
- In the enclosure and around the stadium, within the perimeter described by the prefectural decree, the possession, transport and use of all firecrackers or smoke bombs, flags and banners whose inscriptions call for provocation will also be prohibited. , violence or hatred, as well as any objects that can be used as a projectile. The possession and transport of all alcoholic beverages will also be prohibited.
Failure to comply with these measures is punishable six months’ imprisonment and a fine of €30,000. In the event of conviction, the additional penalty of a one-year stadium ban is mandatory, unless otherwise decided with specially reasoned reasons.
