This Friday, December 20, Amiens UC Badminton is organizing its first Flash’Bad. The first in a series of three for the 2024/2025 season.
After hosting a departmental Grand Prix last weekend, Amiens UC Badminton is back this Friday evening for a new tournament: the Flash’Bad. A tournament organized over one evening, with the presence of a referee who allows players to play 3 to 6 matches in a single evening.
For this type of competition, no fuss. The goal? Play as much as possible in a limited time and be able to pick up a few points. This Friday, 52 players will be entered in the competition. If we count 25 Amiens, we will also find players from all over the Somme, Seine-Maritime, Doubs or Val d’Oise.
An initiative already existing in other territories that Amiens UC Badminton is inaugurating in the Somme department. This Christmas Flash’Bad will be dedicated to men’s and women’s doubles, classification R and D. 36 matches are on the program for the evening which will begin at 7 p.m.
The Amiens club wishes to repeat the experience every Friday which will be the eve of school holidays. The next Flash’Bad are already open for registration and will be held on February 7 (singles) and April 4 (mixed doubles).
