In addition to the village of Saint-Nicolas and its sublime merry-go-round, another installation has appeared place Simone Veilin front of station.

Exhibited during the 2024 Olympic Games, the “Les Ram’eaux” pavilion has stood a few steps from the Thiers Tower since the beginning of December. Nevertheless, its access is still prohibited to the public. We explain why.

Still details to settle on the pavilion

This funny structure was created by students from the Nancy architecture school and was exhibited during the Olympic Games, at Parc de la Villette in Paris. Back in Lorraine, it was reinstalled on the square in front of Nancy station.

Contacted by Lorraine News regarding the ban on access to the structure, the establishment indicates that it will be soon possible to enter the pavilion: “There are still a few details to be resolved on the structure and we must wait for the safety commission to open it to the public. »

The pavilion on Place Simone Veil at least until summer 2025

If no date has been specified, the opening to the public and the removal of barriers should take place within the during the month of January 2025.

Residents will be able to walk there, settle in or take shelter in the event of rain. The pavilion should remain in front of the station at least until next summer.
