Obtaining the call for projects and the unveiling of C’C5Gwill be the subject of an official signature this Friday December 20, 2024.
Indeed, Chartres metropolis and C’Chartres Digital Innovations (C’CIN) are among the twenty-three projects retained by the European Union in the call for projects “ 5G and Edge Cloud for Smart Communities ».
Concretely test the use of 5G in several areas
This project will allow the Chartres agglomeration to test concrete uses in several areas, whether it is the public safetyl’eventTHE transportsTHE networks of tomorrow or even the cybersecurity.
“By offering reliable, latest-generation connectivity, C’C5G constitutes a real lever for digital transformation » rejoices the town.
This project, co-financed by Europe, aims to develop efficient 5G private networks in strategic areas to promote innovation and local dynamism. “Smart cities” intend to put the most advanced technology at the service of the development of new urban uses for intelligent and connected cities.
A formalization which will be signed this Friday, December 20 by the president of Chartres Métropole, Jean-Pierre Gorges and Mickael Tachat, president of C’Chartres Innovations Numériques.
