Wednesday December 18, 2024, around 2 p.m., a man was arrested in the E.Leclerc shopping arcade in Saint-Doulchard, route d’Orléans. According to the first elements, he would have gone through the checkouts without paying, taking with him several items stolen from the store, for a total amount of 137 euros. The man was also in possession of a knife. Known to the police, the 34-year-old man was taken into police custody. His hearing was postponed due to his drunken state. This Thursday evening, he was still in police custody. The store filed a complaint.
Arrested for beating a bus passenger in Bourges
Shortly after 10 a.m., this Thursday, December 19, 2024, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Bourges after an altercation on an Agglobus network bus, near Place Planchat. The attacker allegedly punched a passenger, before pulling out a knife and threatening her with it. He was reportedly put to flight by the bus driver and other passengers. The suspect was taken into custody.
He steals a beer and a wallet: taken into custody
This Thursday, October 19, around 10:15 a.m., a man was arrested in a supermarket in Bourges after stealing a beer worth €0.99. During the search, a wallet belonging to a store customer was found in his jacket. Shortly before, the owner of said wallet had reported its loss to staff. The alleged thief, aged 43, was taken into police custody. The victim filed a complaint.
Attempted theft in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher: three young people will be tried
Tuesday, December 17, three young people, a 13-year-old girl and two 15-year-old boys, were arrested in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher following an attempted theft. Placed in police custody, they were interviewed by investigators. They will appear before the children’s judge early next year.
