In solidarity with the AFM Téléthon, students from the Jeanne-d’Arc Saint-Joseph institution, supervised by their teachers and high school students, organized a cross-country race to raise funds for medical research.

As part of the educational link between the CM2 and 6th grade classes, students from the Jeanne-d’Arc Saint-Joseph institution participated in a solidarity cross-country race, aimed at supporting the AFM Telethon. This event was held under the supervision of CM2 teachers and with the active collaboration of second year high school students, who took charge of supervising the race, alongside their PE teachers.

Each participant contributed not only through their physical effort but also through their commitment to a collective cause. This cross aimed to raise awareness among younger generations of the importance of solidarity, while raising funds to finance medical research.

The enthusiasm and generosity of the students, supported by their teachers, demonstrate the power of small gestures when they add up. “Small streams make big rivers,” recalled the organizers, thus emphasizing the importance of collective commitment for causes of general interest.

By joining this solidarity movement, students have demonstrated that it is possible to combine learning and citizenship from a very young age.
