ORIENTATION MEETING: THE STUDENT FAIR IN Rouen FRIDAY 10 & SATURDAY JANUARY 11 – 9:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. – EXHIBITION CENTER INFORMATION AND INVITATION
Faced with the multiplicity and richness of the training offer it is necessary, even essential, to be informed, to understand, and to be supported in order to make informed orientation decisions. Organized by l’Etudiant, in partnership with the Normandy Academy, the Normandy Regional Agency for Orientation and Careers and the Normandy region, this 33rd edition of the Salon de l’Etudiant in Rouen is THE orientation meeting dedicated to high school students and students looking for information.
Having become essential, this meeting allows future students, but also their parents, to stock up on information and advice to approach questions of orientation and choice of studies as calmly as possible.
More than a hundred actors mobilized to provide advice and information to young people and their parents.
This show is an opportunity to obtain concrete and direct answers, a few days before the opening of the choice registration phase on the coursup platform. It provides information on the possibilities for further studies and is aimed at high school students from second grade and students of all levels.
It offers the opportunity to discuss with representatives of establishments, students, work-study students, to gather advice from specialists… and to attend conferences organized and hosted by the Etudiant editorial staff.
Training organizations from all sectors (communication, commerce, engineers, health, security/defense, environment/agriculture, digital, agriculture, etc.) offering training in traditional or work-study courses are mobilizing and making themselves available to visitors to support them in their efforts and the development of their training project.

The National Education area at the Salon de l’Etudiant offers tailor-made support for each visitor in their educational and professional orientation journey. Two dedicated spaces welcome visitors to answer all their questions. They will be able to:
• Meet representatives of public establishments: find out directly from teachers about their training, their specificities, and their career prospects, in order to discover the opportunities that best match their aspirations.
• Benefit from personalized advice with National Education psychologists from the Information and Orientation Centers (CIO) of the Normandy Academy: guidance specialists, they guide young people in their study choices superiors, help them to clarify their
objectives and to define a project consistent with their desires and skills. This free and individualized service is available to all young people, for informed and caring support in their future career.
· The Normandy Regional Agency for Orientation and Careers
De-dramatize the orientation course, develop the ambition of young Normans, help the public to know themselves in order to make coherent choices, bring the regional economic world closer to Normans… the Regional Agency for Orientation and Careers is developing a range of multifaceted, adapted and innovative services to respond to orientation and information issues on careers and training. Its role is to offer each person personalized answers to help them in their career path and to find the profession that suits them and the appropriate training.
The Agency will be fortunate to have at its side during the show, the Department of Youth and Sports and the Department of Lifelong Training of the Normandy Region.

To find out about university courses and training, the Universities of Rouen and Le Havre are coming to the show to answer visitors’ questions.
WHY AND HOW TO PREPARE YOUR VISIT TO THE EXHIBITION?
To allow visitors to prepare essential for their visit, l’Etudiant is setting up an online version of each show accessible via its website letudiant.fr.
Future students and parents can consult in advance the list of exhibitors and their presentations, the conference program, the highlights and the schedule of events. The objective is to encourage them to start their reflection by preparing their questions to ask training establishments, companies, partners, etc.
