The objective is to support mayors and local elected officials facing the socio-economic challenges of their territory by offering local support to Urssaf users, in particular self-employed workers and businesses facing difficulties.

Support and resources

Catherine Lhérir, president of the AMF, recalled that “the town hall is the first place people go to in case of problems “. What Julien Floc’h, director of Urssaf Centre-Val de Loire, confirmed: “The role of local elected officials is essential. » It is therefore based on the information transmitted by the municipalities that Urssaf and the CPSTI will be able to directly contact the companies and independent workers concerned.

Beyond supporting users in difficulty, Urssaf will provide local stakeholders with resources to make its services better known (Cesu, Pajemploi). It will also offer support to communities in the management of their reporting obligations and will also provide, as a socio-economic observatory, statistical analyzes thus enabling them to enlighten them on the economic situation of their territory and support them in their actions. .

Shighlighting a recent example (the passage of the Kirk storm), Julien Floc’h reported on the help provided to 51 entrepreneurs affected by the floods: “The next step will be to continue raising awareness among elected officials to support them during work that temporarily penalizes the activity of entrepreneurs. This is the whole meaning of this partnership agreement. »
