The sky will play yo-yo in the coming days, with a mix of rain, sunshine, and even a few flakes in places. Here’s what to expect.
According to forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) this Thursday, the west of the country will benefit from rather calm and dry weather. But in the rest of Belgium, clouds will take over in the afternoon, with showers. For snow lovers, know that in the Ardennes, this rain can turn into snow at times!

Moreover, tonight, while showers will come from the North Sea, with some clearings between two cloudy periods, in upper Belgium, we could still see a few flakes falling!
What about the weekend?
The sun, which has been absent in recent weeks, will appear in several regions on Friday morning, except in Ardennes where the sky will remain gray. As the hours pass, the weather will become cloudier, but it is not expected to rain during the day. On the other hand, the evening will be more disturbed, with an area of rain which will cross the country. In the Ardennes, it could even snow again.
Saturday, the day will start under clearer skies, but don’t put away your umbrellas too quickly! In the afternoon, new clouds will appear, accompanied by light rain. Temperatures will remain seasonal, ranging from 3 degrees above sea level to 9 degrees near the sea.
Typically winter weather, where clearings alternate with showers. Take advantage of the moments of respite to go outside, but keep an eye on the sky!
