On the 438th day of an ongoing genocide in Gaza committed by the State of Israel and an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against two of its leaders, namely its current Prime Minister and his ex- Minister of Defense, Israeli professional basketball players were able to exhibit themselves publicly with authorization and protection from the prefect of the Hauts-de-Seine department.
The closed session requested by the mayor of the city of Nanterre having been canceled by decision of the administrative court a few hours before the vile ceremony.
Indeed, how else can we describe this meeting thanks to which war crimes and crimes against humanity were able to be normalized, during a basketball tournament?
At the same time, thousands of kilometers from the match of shame, a part of humanity is subjected to a genocidal war led by an army made up of the comrades of the very people who play ball here!
It is true that, from the start, the victims of this genocide were qualified “human animals” and that consequently, their extermination could be carried out without scruple.
In Nanterre, thousands of kilometers from Gaza, you can play ball with the defenders of “Western Civilization”…or criminals. It depends.
It depends on which camp you belong to, that of the dominant or the dominated.
It depends on whether you are on the side of force or that of international law.
It depends… on barbarism or humanity.
That day, in Nanterre, the dominant decided: Barbarism won under the cover of a basketball. Shame!
That day, a black page was written in the history of Nanterre.

Gaza: HRW accuses Israel of “acts of genocide” for restricting access to water
The international organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) estimates in a report published Thursday December 19, 2024 that Israel is committing “acts of genocide” by restricting “access to water” for the Palestinians in Gaza since the start of the war.
“Israeli authorities deliberately created living conditions aimed at causing the destruction of part of the population of Gaza, by intentionally depriving Palestinian civilians in the enclave of adequate access to water, which likely resulted in caused thousands of deaths »writes HRW in a press release accompanying its investigation.
“In doing so, the Israeli authorities are responsible for the crime against humanity of extermination and acts of genocide”adds the NGO
During its nearly year-long investigation, HRW said it asked the Israeli military about the facts detailed in the report but did not receive a response.
To explain how water ran out in the Gaza Strip, HRW recalls that Yoav Gallant, then Israeli Defense Minister, ordered a “full seat” of the Palestinian territory from October 9, 2023.
“There will be no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel,” he declared.
