This Wednesday in Saint-Jean, the club’s players and managers gathered to discover the tunics they will wear to face Monaco on Sunday.
It was at the Intermarché de Saint-Jean (historic partner of the “Petit Poucet Coupe de France”) that the presentation of jerseys to the Union Saint-Jean players took place this Wednesday, in an evening that marked already the kick-off of the match which will pit them against Monaco on Sunday at the Stadium. With the presence of volunteers, presidents, supporters, but also some stars and former players like Pantxi Sirieix and Nicolas Dieuze, the USJFC fans received their outfits to face the professionals of the Principality.

In front of around fifty people and in the presence of the Coupe de France trophy, which the TFC lifted two years ago, the atmosphere was one of unity for the club. “It’s unique, they deserve it and we’re not thinking so much about the match right now. We’re enjoying the present moment,” enthuses Daniel Nadalin, one of the presidents. Arriving slowly, the players, upon meeting again, undoubtedly became aware of the moment they were experiencing.

“They are incredible!”
When discovering the tunics, everyone had the same reaction of amazed players like children in front of a Christmas present, some unable to contain their excitement when posing with them. “Frankly, they are incredible, and mine, blue like that, makes me want to wear it right away” raves Fawzi Rabyi, captain and goalkeeper of Union Saint-Jean. Same reaction for his outfield teammates, who will proudly wear the club’s red color. Little more, unlike the previous round where they beat Versailles, this time the club crest is present on the jersey. “With the logo it’s magnificent, it really makes it a unique jersey. We don’t want to damage it.” slips Larry Viltard.

But if they don’t want to damage it for the moment, everyone is going to wet it on Sunday in front of a little more than 15,000 people, for now, in any case, that’s what their looks already said this Wednesday.
