The president of the Métropole de Lyon, the mayor of Lyon, the president of the National Rugby LeagueRené Bouscatel, Florian Grill, president of the French Rugby Federation without forgetting Yann Roubert, president of theLou Rugby, met in the evening, yesterday Tuesday, December 17, to discuss the preparation of semi-finals of Top 14.
The details of the activities will be communicated with more details 100 days before the start of the competition, but the idea is to “make this weekend a great rugby celebration”, in the spirit of what was proposed to the general public at Lyon for the Rugby World Cup 2023.
These two meetings, described as “end of season shock“, will take place in Lyon at Groupama stadium, Friday June 20 and Saturday June 21, 2025.
2025 Top 14 semi-finals in Lyon: places are going fast
The four best clubs in the first division of French professional rugby will challenge each other to try to win their place for the final on June 28, 2025 at the Stade de Franceand win a 24e shield of Brennus.
