On loan from Castres Olympique, the third row and captain of Sporting Club Albigeois, Simon Meka was recalled by his club to join the Top 14 squad during the National break, in order to compensate for injuries.
Through an official press release, Castres Olympique announced, Tuesday December 17, the temporary return to the club of its protégé, Simon Meka. The third row, aged 24 and who is currently enjoying the good days of Sporting Club Albigeois, in the National, where he is the captain of the team, has just put on the blue and white jersey for a winter freelance period of a few weeks. Indeed, this provision comes as the CO has just recorded two long absences, after injuries to Baptiste Delaporte (biceps) and Baptiste Cope (shoulder).
“It’s a pleasure to see back at the CO our young 24-year-old third row who arrived at the Club at the age of 16, after having been trained in our partner club Alban”informed Castres Olympique, which also recruited a medical joker in the person of New Zealand third row and Samoan international, Izaiha Moore-Aiono, from Saracens, a club with which he participated in three match sheets this season, including one start.
