From January 6, 2025, the entire Txik Txak public transport network will experience many new features. In order to present them, the operator’s mobile agency vehicle was parked at Place Dous-Haous, Tuesday December 17, market day. The changes to the offer were detailed by sales agents Kyllian and Mawa-Eva, accompanied by Joël, bus driver.

Line T2 will be earlier in the morning, with a first departure from 5:30 a.m. Among the targeted users, staff who have to go to the hospital center. A trambus will run every fifteen minutes, with service ending at 11 p.m. On Sundays, the line will operate from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Operational from this month of December, a secure shelter is available to travelers connecting by bike. More buses also for line 7 (future designation of current line 30), with a passage every 20 minutes.

The section currently served by line 56 will be integrated into line 23, a route linking Ondres beach to Villefranque via downtown Bayonne and the Ametzondo commercial area, making this long diagonal one of the most extensive lines of the network.

Direct line to Bayonne

At the level of the RD 817, the new line 24 was designed to connect Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx to the city center of Bayonne (Marrac stop), via Les Barthes, all day long, no longer having the obligation to take a T1 connecting to Hauts de Bayonne.

Regarding internal services within the municipality: line 40 will become 19, with service to the Métro beach (instead of La Baye) provided all year round from Castillon, except on Sundays and public holidays; La Digue beach will be accessible in the summer season from Square Mora thanks to a shuttle on line 20 (former line 42).

Finally, it should be noted that on-demand transport for people with reduced mobility will become effective in all 21 municipalities served by the network.
