The Agglomeration has a single office for procedures related to energy renovation. From now on, in Bayonne, the Maison de l’Habitat et de l’Energie will allow residents to receive support for their projects, including a directory of craftsmen.

Reduce emissions by 20% in 2030 and 73% in 2050. These are the ambitions set by the climate plan of the Basque Country urban community. To achieve its objectives, the CAPB wants to develop renovation projects for individuals and professionals whose buildings represent 15% of greenhouse gas emissions.

So to encourage these audiences to take the plunge, the Basque Country Agglomeration has inaugurated its House of Housing and Energy, the only Renov’ advice space in the Basque Country in order to best advise individuals and professionals on how to their renovation efforts. It relies on several partners, namely the Departmental Housing Information Agency (ADIL 64), the Architecture Urban Planning Environment Council (CAUE 64) and the France Service network.

Tenants, but also owners, co-owners and condominium associations can be contacted by a housing, energy advisor and/or a thermal engineer, in Bayonne, but also in Saint-Palais. Advice for carrying out work, improving accommodation, and in particular knowing about existing aid. Please note that the Basque Country Agglomeration also financially supports the completion of these projects. Indeed, since March 2024, if after work, a home reaches label A or B, depending on the situation of the owner, the aid can allow a remainder of €0 of the amount of the work, depending on income.

Help, but also a directory. Indeed, for renovation project leaders, the Maison de l’Habitat et de l’Energie maintains a directory with craftsmen who can help them in their efforts. Employees of the Maison de l’Habitat et de l’Énergie also provide training with organizations such as CAPEB, and contact the CMA and the FFB in order to encourage craftsmen to send their customers to them, so that They can be supported throughout their entire process.
