The 4e edition of Projection 3E (School, Jobs, Industry Company) confirms the growing success of this annual forum which has become essential. It took place this year on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with the theme of “achieving and becoming”, within the industrial building of the Grandmont high school, under the aegis of Jacques Moreau and Sébastien Gomes, delegated directors of training.
Five hundred high school students from 17 courses
Throughout the day, high school students from four vocational high schools and two technological high schools (i.e. around 500 learners from 17 different courses) were able to visit the stands of 36 companies, attend a conference and a round table, participate in job dating (300 during the day) training or real internship and job offers. “So many opportunities to promote the industry’s working environment, environmental and societal responsibility, highlight safety, health and quality of life at work, but also promote the skills of young people in the sector and make them proud of their training”noted Christelle Charlot, principal.
A new BTS, a sector of the future
At the end of the morning, the new BTS section of the Grandmont high school was inaugurated, the BTS Cira (Industrial control and automatic regulation), supported by the Academic CFA of Orléans-Tours, the Centre-Val de Loire Region, the Métropole de Tours , EDF and the Peren association (nuclear). « Thank you all for this Cira room, a great educational tool,” insisted the principal.
For the vice-president of the Metropolis, “our role is to help you because this corresponds to the economic sectors that we want to see develop”. « Many young people are leaving the regionlamented the vice-president of the Region. Our priority is that they find their happiness here. » The academic director addressed the Cira students of 2e year : “You are the future of this territory, it is a fundamental global geopolitical issue. » And everyone salutes the perfect organization of this forum dedicated to the industry.
