Parking tickets issued by the City of Trois-Rivières will now be increased in certain sectors in order to be uniform throughout its territory.

However, in some sectors, notably at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and the College of General and Professional Education of Trois-Rivières, the fine amounts to $30.

The Trois-Rivières municipal council therefore voted in favor, Tuesday evening, of a modification of its regulations to standardize the amount of fines.

In the event that a vehicle is moved or towed, this fine will be $355 since it includes towing costs of $295.
