‘Oh, your son hit his head’: 6-year-old hurts himself at school, dies mysteriously in his sleep the next day

Last week, a little boy hit his head while at school in Birmingham, England. The next day, the child dies.

Bruised parents. Last week in England, 6-year-old Muhammad Yaseen Uddin was at his Marlborough primary school in Birmingham. During the day, the child’s mother was called by the establishment who informed her that her son had hit his head and that they had to come and pick him up. Although at first the school indicated that there was nothing serious, Yaseen died the next day, reports the Daily Mail.

Analyzes in progress

It was a call from the school that alerted the mother last Tuesday. He is told that the little boy hit his head, that it is a “simple bosse” and the injury is “without gravity”.

Once home, he eats with his brothers and sisters, takes medicine given by his parents and goes to bed. But Wednesday morning, for Yaseen’s mother, tragedy struck. She discovers the lifeless body of her son in the bed.

For the moment, the reasons for the death of the 6-year-old boy are still unknown; analyzes are underway to determine them. “He had a head impact at school. The school told my wife, ‘Oh, your son hit his head,’ and when she asked if it was serious, they said, ‘No , it’s nothing serious, it’s just a shock'”protests the father, quoted by the English media.

School staff are singled out by parents, who point out that this is not the first fatal accident in the establishment. Another child had died just before Covid.

The English primary school addressed some deaths to the bereaved family. An online fundraiser was opened to build a mosque in his memory.
