The project does not only make people happy If the project is already making the (many) fans of padel salivate, some local residents take a dim view of the arrival of such an infrastructure near houses. “This project would not only cause considerable disruption to our living environment but also pose a risk to the local environment. It has been proven that the creation of sealed areas contributes to soil erosion and increased flood risks,” writes a collective of residents on a
online petition .“We understand the interest that such a complex can arouse and we are not against its establishment, but we ask that it be done in
a more suitable place
and less harmful to residents and the environment,” the petitioners conclude. The text, published in October, collected just over 180 signatures.Follow all the news from your favorite cities and media by subscribing to Mon Actu.
