This is the event that signals the start of the 2026 municipal election campaign in Martigues. Last Saturday morning, the parties Europe Ecology the Greens (EELV), La France Insoumise (LFI) and the Pirate Party held a press conference to present their alliance, called Convergence alternative social and ecological Martégale, as well as their program.
With the label of Martégal Citizen Collective, the alliance sets itself the objective of “ to build a left-wing, progressive and innovative project » for municipal elections, as summarized by Jérôme Druilhe, local manager of EELV and representative of the collective.
Concern for the RN
In addition to Jérôme Druilhe, we find in the collective the opposition municipal councilor Frédéric Grimaud (LFI) and the former deputy Stéphane Delhaye (EELV), on the platform Nanie Bellan (LFI) and the former municipal councilors Patrick Courtin (LFI) and Caroline Rimbault-Minot (EELV), both elected on the list of Gaby Charroux (PCF) in 2020 and resigned in 2022.
The representative of the collective indicates that the list is based on “ three pillars : power sharing, transparency and control of elected officials, and participation of the population “. The approach comes from the “ concern about the result of the last elections, where the communist deputy was replaced by a deputy from the National Rally », explains Jérome Druilhe. According to him, “ too many people are disappointed with politics » of the majority in place (including Pierre Dharréville and the communists), reproaching a lack “ exchanges with elected officials and constructive feedback on proposals » of the inhabitants, affirms the ecologist. The New Popular Front no longer seems to be on the agenda.
