On Adam Gaye

I salute the Lord. I just returned from Cybercrime. By answering the questions of the very affable but rigorous investigators, with the help and benevolent presence of my lawyers, including here two powerful and competent lawyers, Messrs Moussa Diop and François Senghor, remarkable for their dedication. Although he is currently in , my chief lawyer, Me Seydou Diagne, has not let anything slip. His right arm, Sidy Diagne, was admirable, acting like an ant and a needle to put everything in order. The boss of Amnesty Senegal, Seydi Gassama, was not to be outdone, as usual, as usual!

Even if their professional duties did not allow them to be present, Maîtres Souleymane Soumare and Adja Diallo remain in my favorite team of lawyers. I tip my hat to them again. As I do for my close and extended family including the eldest Tidiane Y, a man of duty. And Lamine Ba, Cheikh Sene or all the others who didn’t give up! Nor, of course, my childhood friend, Lamane Ndiouga Gueye, available at any time!

I want to salute you, Senegalese men and women, who prayed for a final solution and to the great relief of those involved.

In addition to the answers given to the investigators, it is the good will shown by Abass Fall who showed greatness and myself who only had one concern which was to clarify my intention far from wanting to harm either his person nor in the country.

Knowing how to surpass yourself is a sign of greatness. Before responding, I had read the solution, in the form of mediation, between Donald Trump and ABC News, whose star journalist, Georges Stephanopoulos, was being sued for defamation. The chain paid $15 million.

As I prepare to leave for useful investments in Africa and the establishment of a consortium on the Carlyle model with major partners, I only have two words in mind: forgiveness and repentance. I forgive the young people of Pastef!

The construction of our societies and nations transcends our egos and truths which are by definition precarious. They never finished forming…

Let’s say alhamdoulilahi again and long live peace. We must build Africa…

With two of my talented lawyers in this photo, Moussa Diop and François Senghor, at the end of the cybercrime hearing. All’s well that ends well.

You will agree that I deserve to rest and concentrate on my life and my business, right?

Have a good end of the day to everyone, and thank you again for your kindness…”
