At the initiative of the House theater of literature in high voices, a publishers' fair takes place on Saturday December 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

No weekly evening at the House Theater of Literatures Aloud, this Thursday, December 12, but a fair for Gard publishers. It will take place at Prolé ter, 18 rue Jean Reboul in Nîmes, Saturday December 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Will be present: Po&psy, the collection directed by Danièle Faugeras and Pascale Janot which publishes poets without limitations of time or place, favoring brief forms or anthologies; Atelier Baie editions, based in Nîmes and rooted in the Mediterranean, have a taste for the open sea and people of passion; Jacques Brémond, publisher of one of the most prestigious catalogs of poets of the 20th and 21st centuries; Sansouïre editions, created in 2005 in Nîmes which publish photographic and literary works by contemporary authors, as well as ethnological, historical and technical studies; La Margeride by Robert Lobet, artist and publisher based in Provence near Pont-du-Gard who is a lover of poetry and artists.

Also announced are La bel, an associative structure in Nîmes which organizes artistic events and leads theatrical, oral and written expression workshops; Jéremy Damien and Guillaume Boppe, respectively visual artist and poet who together create works that are each unique; as well as the Vinaigrette magazine, a molecular photo/poetry magazine imagined and invented by Sandrine Cnudde.

On the occasion of this Show, the Vargaftig 2024 prize will be awarded, with, at 11 a.m., the reading of the winner's collection. The Bernard Vargaftig Prize aims to discover the poetry of an author who has not been published as a poet (excluding magazines and collective works). It is awarded every two years and results in the publication of the winning manuscript.
