The Lionesses of Senegal had an exceptional run at the 2024 Africa Handball Cup of Nations, reaching the final after impressive performances. Despite an honorable defeat against Angola, the four-time defending champion, the Senegalese team won hearts with its combativeness and team spirit.
The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, did not fail to salute this feat.
