Yule, young apprentice who became Santa Claus
In Scandinavian and Germanic mythologies, Yule designates the period of the winter solstice, marking the return of light and the rebirth of the Sun, often associated with Christmas celebrations in the Nordic countries. It is therefore no coincidence that The Grand Hotel of Dreams chose this first name, imbued with magic and tradition, to embody the main character of his new show The true story of Santa Claus.

It all begins in the shop of an old seamstress, Uldrafrom whom the young Solange Papillot asks for help to repair a jewel dear to her. At the sight of the latter, the one nicknamed “the witch” understands who she is dealing with and begins to tell the story of a friend dear to his parents: Yule. Little by little, we dive into the fantastic universe of this young apprentice who will soon become Santa Claus, a world populated by witches, magic wardrobes and gifts! From old Hazelius's toy shop to the post office on the edge of the pole via Balthazar Papillot's confectionery, we witness the birth of a myth almost 200 years old.
