On December 4, Philippe Ducène, president of SDE 24and Delphine Villot Henrique Dias, territorial director ofEnedisformalized new financial commitments of nearly 60 million euros to improve the quality and resilience of the electricity network with regard to climatic hazards in Dordogne.
Negotiations were carried out in June 2024 and made it possible to confirm the ambitions and levers included in the initial plan. The investment priorities identified in the technical diagnosis are:
– The absorption of LV (low voltage) networks into bare wires located in urban areas;
– The desensitization of HTA (medium voltage) overhead networks exposed to wood risk in the face of increasing climatic hazards;
– Making MV overhead networks more reliable to improve resilience and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Enedis' financial commitments between now and 2029 will therefore be directed towards improving the electricity network in Dordogne for 56.5 million euros, an increase of 18% compared to the previous period. Added to this amount are 2 million euros of investments for the integration of the structures into the environment.
On the other hand, within the negotiated framework of the distribution of works, SDE 24 will be able to intervene in urban areas to secure the LV network (AEFN) to the tune of €1 million in investments.
