The agents of the public service will be in strike this Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Oise, during a national day of mobilization, at the call of an inter-union (CGT, CFDT, FSU, Solidaires, Unsa).

While demonstrations are planned throughout France, several actions are planned in Oise this Thursday, while many schools are expected to remain closed.

Distribution of leaflets in the morning

The first will take place at the Haut-Villé roundabout, a strategic roundabout at the entrance to Beauvaisnear the highway A16 and the RN31very busy routes.

Afternoon demonstration

Then, the unions call for a demonstration from 2 p.m.in front of the Oise Prefecture, in Beauvais. The procession will then head towards Place Jeanne Hachette.

They are speaking out “against the elimination of waiting days, for maintaining 100% sickness compensation and for increasing the index point”.

The unions have not accepted the declarations of the Minister of the Civil Service, Guillaume Kasbarian, who wishes to fight against “the increase in absenteeism” of civil servants, which should make it possible to generate 1.2 billion euros in savings.
