22:18 CET – Chelsea have made it 5-1 against 10-man Southampton, this one will hurt Saints supporters.
22:13 CET – Mo Salah has completed the comeback! He’s scored to make it 3-2 to Liverpool while Real Madrid have gone 1-0 down at Athletic!
22:12 CET – Rounding up some more goals, Chelsea are now leading Southampton 4-1 thanks to a Cole Palmer striker while Everton are thrashing Wolves 4-0.

21:57 CET – There’s one Coppa Italia fixture going on this evening and it’s already half-time there with Empoli leading hosts Fiorentina 1-0.
Before kick-off, the clubs made a touching tribute to Edoardo Bove, who had collapsed in Fiorentina’s last match.
21:52 CET – Newcastle have taken the lead against Liverpool for the second time via Anthony Gordon – it’s 2-1. Elsewhere, Villa are now leading Brentford 3-0.
21:50 CET – Moving over to Bilbao, Real Madrid are not having things all their way against Athletic. At the break, it’s still goalless at San Mames with Kylian Mbappe having a goal ruled out for offside earlier. Real have not managed another shot on target.
21:46 CET – Manchester City are back. The Premier League champions are now leading Forest 3-0 with Jeremy Doku getting in on the act too. What crisis?
21:43 CET – Everton and Aston Villa have both added goals to increase their respective leads to three and two goals.
21:40 CET – Liverpool are back on level terms with Newcastle thanks to a goal from Curtis Jones! The in-form Englishman finished neatly after Mo Salah’s cross into a dangerous area. It’s 1-1 at St. James’.
21:36 CET – Aston Villa, who have not won in eight matches, have gone 1-0 up against visiting Brentford thanks to a stunner from Morgan Rogers.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s local rivals Everton are 2-0 up against Wolves.
21:04 CET – Kevin De Bruyne has added a goal to his assist for Manchester City to make it 2-0 against Forest. The champions might finally be snapping this winless run tonight.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are now 3-1 up thanks to a goal from Noni Madueke.
21:00 CET – Moving over to Spain and Real Madrid are just about to start a tricky clash away at Athletic Club. Real would close the gap with Barcelona to just one point with a win but San Mames is not an easy place to do that. Follow that match via the link above.
20:47 CET – Chelsea have reinstated their one-goal lead over Southampton through Christopher Nkunku. It’s now 2-1 to the visitors at St. Mary’s.
20:41 CET – Joe Aribo has put Southampton back on level terms with Chelsea while Everton are ahead against Wolves. Plenty of goals going in, that’s for sure.
20:39 CET – Manchester City have gone 1-0 up against Nottingham Forest. Returning talisman Kevin De Bruyne was key to the goal, heading it goalward for Bernardo Silva to tap in. City will be desperate to end their rotten run tonight.
20:38 CET – Chelsea are the first to score in the Premier League this evening. Axel Disasi has put the Blues 1-0 up against lowly Southampton. The French defender netted off a corner – could it be a long night for Saints? Possibly.

Liverpool have made three changes to their starting lineup with Jarell Quansah, Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez coming in for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz while Alexander Isak is fit to start for Newcastle.
Meanwhile, in Manchester, Kevin de Bruyne returns to the starting lineup for Pep Guardiola’s side as Phil Foden misses out due to illness.
