Several planes will fly over Paris this Wednesday, July 10, during rehearsals for the July 14 parade, organized this Sunday.

A ceremony of this magnitude requires preparation. Military aircraft will parade this Wednesday, July 10, over Paris, as part of preparations for the July 14 parade, which this year falls on a Sunday.

Thus, according to our information, the aircraft will fly over the capital, along the axis of Avenue Foch (8th arrondissement) around 2 p.m.

As a reminder, due to the arrangements made for the preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the July 14 parade will exceptionally not be held on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, but on Avenue Foch, from the Arc de Triomphe to Place du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny.

“You will have noticed that this year the sequence of the tableaux is completely different, that is to say that we open with the slow planes, followed by the helicopters and then the faster planes. Finally, we finish with the Patrouille de France, which will offer a nice burst at the end of the passage,” confided Stéphane Groën, air division general, to CNEWS a few days ago.

Next Sunday, no fewer than 4,000 men and women will march during the parade celebrating the national holiday, as well as 162 horses from the Republican Guard and 65 planes and helicopters, the Ministry of the Armed Forces said.
