The Lanta gendarmerie brigade (Haute-Garonne) is launching a call for witnesses this Wednesday, December 3, after a road accident.
On Thursday October 31, 2024 at around 8:30 p.m., a road traffic accident occurred on the RD20, commune of La Salvetat-Lauragais (Haute-Garonne), traffic axis linking the communes of Auriac/Vendinelle (Haute-Garonne) and Loubens-Lauragais (Haute-Garonne). Only one vehicle is involved, a black VW GOLF.
The driver lost control and hit a tree located on the side of the lane opposite the direction of travel.
A first person stopped shortly after the incident and contacted emergency services. She is quickly joined by two other road users who also help while waiting for help.
Investigators are seeking to identify:
- the 3rd person who stopped at the scene of the accident and who was traveling on the RD20 from the town of AURIAC-sur-VENDINELLE (31). It is a woman without further details;
- a motorist who passed the vehicle involved a few moments before its driver lost control.
