The Re'joués ensemble association was created in 2020 in Saint-Paul-Mont-Penit (Vendée). Chaired by Gilbert Cavazzini, its vocation is recycling unused toys and games by filling in the missing pieces to give them a second life. She is now forced to suspend her activity.
A pop-up store in Challans
After a few months, a pop-up store even opened its doors in Challans. It was based on the principle thatone in five children had no games or toys.
Collection by donations made it possible to sell items at half price or less.
Lack of volunteers
But the industry is in trouble. Re'joués ensemble explains in a press release that she is throwing in the towel. “Our association is obliged to suspend all our collections as well as our activity lack of volunteers. Furthermore, we do not have more outlets to reintroduce our reused toys. The individual market is not yet sufficiently aware of this second life for toys and board games. It was a great, enriching experience. »
