Following the installation of the 15th legislature, the president of the MASLA movement, Massamba Diop, spoke about the choice made for the new president of the hemicycle and the renewed confidence in young people. “With the installation of the 15th legislature, Senegal will usher in a new era. His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar FAYE and his Prime Minister Ousmane SONKO (head of the list of the winning coalition, PASTEF), have chosen the former Minister of Infrastructure, Mr. El Malick NDIAYE, only 41 years old. The MASLA Movement of President Massamba DIOP is delighted with the renewed confidence. with regard to youth and wishes great success to the deputies of this 15th legislature, particularly to those from the department of Thiès with whom I campaigned.”
Mr. Diop adds: “Convinced that this parliamentary exercise (2024-2029) will carry the most pressing expectations of the people who were betrayed by the old regime, the MASLA movement reiterates its commitment and support to the government and the PASTEF coalition “.
