Tuesday, December 10, the Michallon hospital opens the doors to surgery of today and tomorrow and invites the public, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., to come and test the Da Vinci Xi robot in the Vercors hall to immerse themselves in the universe robotic surgery. Installed in the operating room since the beginning of the year, this high-tech tool “offers surgeons an amplitude similar or even better than that of the human hand. The interventions are thus carried out with extreme precision”. Visitors will be able to test and understand its many capabilities, its functioning and its usefulness in different surgical interventions, supervised by health professionals.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Gilbert Faure room will host a conference where surgeons and health professionals will share their experiences on robotic surgery. Future perspectives and upcoming innovations in the field of robotic surgery will also be discussed, offering an overview of the developments that await teams and patients in the years to come.
