A man in his thirties died this Monday, December 2 in the afternoon at the Loppin et Jean company in Vertus in Marne. This company specializes in the trading of steel products. The emergency services intervened quickly, but were unable to free him, because he had the remote control of the vehicle involved.
Around twenty firefighters went to the scene around 5:15 p.m. At the start of the evening, emergency services were still in the area to remove the body of the 38-year-old victim. The precise circumstances of this work accident are not yet precisely known. But the company's employees are in shock. There are 80 employees in the company.
The victim's family was contacted, greatly shocked by the tragedy, and taken care of by emergency services. A psychological unit was opened on site.
