A man in his thirties and two municipal agents from the City of Paris appear this Monday, December 2, 2024 before the Paris Assize Court, indicates News Paris . The first is suspected of having beaten a prostitute to death in November 2022. The two others are said to have witnessed the scene without taking action and without alerting the emergency services.
He admits the facts in police custody
The 49-year-old prostitute was discovered by a night watchman in serious condition, in a street in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, on November 8, 2022. She died from her injuries during her hospitalization. She reportedly received around twenty punches from one of her clients.
The suspect, then aged 33, admitted the facts while in police custody. According to him, he would have given up on a paid relationship after having paid, but the prostitute would have refused to give him back his money. He was immediately indicted for “attempted intentional homicide” and then imprisoned. The verdict is expected on December 6, 2024.
