Christmas market and voguing in the heart of the Marais

Here is an atypical Christmas market which offers to make your Christmas presents… while dancing! The MAIF Social Club Christmas market invites you to discover committed creators, while admiring voguing performances. Living Paris explains everything!

A responsible and joyful “Christmas in your skin”

We have already told you about this truly unique cultural space in the Parisian map: the MAIF Social Club, a stone's throw from Place des Vosges. This atypical place offers exhibitions all year round, free programming (living arts, workshops, debates of ideas, etc.) as well as a space for readings and meetings. Inspired by their fantastic exhibition “Let's make bodies” – 14 artists who talk about bodies, in private as in society, the MAIF Social Club teams decided to organize an exceptional Christmas market which celebrates the body in movement!

The choreographer and dancer Melvin Hans will perform voguing performances throughout the event: enough to make you want to leave rue de Turenne moving like a star! Friday December 6 (from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and Saturday December 7 (from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), dates of this 100% committed, festive and fun Christmas market, it will therefore be as much about gifts as parties and dancing ! Original and well-sourced gifts

Faithful to its commitments, the MAIF Social Club has carefully selected the brands present so that you can offer your loved ones useful, durable and trendy gifts. And this offer should meet everyone's expectations: food with, for example, Tiny Bird, fruit candies, gluten-free and without additives made in France, beauty with Pompon (the first makeup-skincare brand made in France, created by 2 pharmacists), fashion (we fell for Maliciouse, a brand of iron-on patches that allow you to give a second life to your clothes) but also the oracles of the French illustrator Victoria Dorche, or games for children like Bakakouthe specialist in fun challenge games! The bonus we love? An on-site furoshiki stand will teach you how to wrap your gifts with fabric.

What we like about this Christmas market like no other is also that it is a gourmet and friendly event where you can taste delicious little pastries or Christmas drinks concocted by Sain Boulangerie, chef- hired baker. The opportunity to awaken your sense of smell and taste (and pleasure) after shopping or seeing the “Let’s make bodies” exhibition!
