Two accidents particularly disrupted traffic in the Ile-de-France region this Monday, December 2 in the morning. More than 430 kilometers of traffic jams have been recorded by the Sytadin service.
A complicated start to the week. 432 kilometers of traffic jams were recorded on the morning of Monday, December 2 according to the Sytadin roads service in Île-de-France.
The situation, classified as “exceptional”, was notably caused by two accidents which occurred only a few kilometers apart near Orly.
Two accidents towards Orly
The first occurred around 8 a.m. according to Sytadin, from the A3 to the A1 motorway in the province-Paris direction. Three vehicles, including a heavy goods vehicle, were involved, neutralizing one of the two lanes of traffic.
The second occurred around 8:25 a.m. on the A1, in the same direction of traffic. A single light vehicle was involved and a fire broke out on site.
“An accident is in progress on the A1, towards Paris, near the town of Gonesse, involving a vehicle on fire. Two left lanes are neutralized, you are only traveling on one right lane,” explains Sytadin .
