Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clémentvice-president of the Île-de- Region, recently signed two regional development contracts (CAR) in the Val-d'Oise. These agreements concretize the regional community's commitment to structuring projects for the region, in and Neuville-sur-Oise.

In Argenteuil, modernization of public spaces and support for associations

The first signing took place in the wedding hall of Argenteuil Town Hall. The contract includes two major projects supported by the Region up to of one million euros.

The redevelopment of public spaces ofl’islet of the Four Windsfinanced to the tune of 750 000 eurosallowed the renovation of the roadways and sidewalks. The project reduced parking from 106 to 60 spaces, while integrating spaces for people with reduced mobility (PMR) and for the delivery of the school group. The neighborhood has been greened with three landscaped plots and the planting of 22 treesoffering a more pleasant and sustainable environment.

Furthermore, the transformation of theNelson Mandela space in one house of associations received funding from 250 000 euros. This work made it possible to modernize the plumbing, heating and ventilation networks, as well as to install LED lighting and a collective Wi-Fi network. The redeveloped premises include eight offices, two meeting rooms, a coworking space, changing rooms and a storage room, meeting the needs of local associations.

In Neuville-sur-Oise, priority for soft mobility and spaces for children

In the afternoon, Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément signed a second contract at City Hall from Neuville-sur-Oiseworth 700 000 euros.

The redevelopment of the rue des Trembles a you path of the millsupported to the extent of 600 000 eurosplaced emphasis on accessibility and soft mobility with the creation of cycle paths. This project also includes the renewal of the roads and the establishment of a network ofcollective sanitationin collaboration with the SHARP (Intercommunal union for sanitation in the - and Vexin region).

Finally, the development of a land in two play areas for children aged 1 to 13, located rue Sébastien de la Grange, received a grant from 100 000 euros. These spaces, close to the micro-crèche, will be lined with trees and shrubs to create islands of freshness. In addition, six green parking spaces will be provided.
