As part of the volunteers' tour of Aveyron, the town of Saint-Santin had proposed several people who work in the field of volunteering. Two Saint-Santinois were rewarded for their commitment to associations in the commune for more than 40 years by the departmental committee for youth medals, sports and associative commitment of Aveyron. On November 22, a volunteer tour of Aveyron was organized, during which awards were given to deserving volunteers. Among the winners selected for these distinctions Claudette Pronzac and Michel Fraux received an award in the “World Volunteer Day” category, in view of their commitment for more than 40 years within associations in the municipality, or working for national causes like the Telethon. Claudette and Michel were selected by the committee which wished to highlight their dedication and their merit for all these years spent giving for others without asking for anything in return. The evening ended with a very convivial moment where the different winners were able to discuss the major subject of the evening: volunteering.
